Well, this seminar was organize by my church and i know it was some time ago. I didn't plan to post it but since i'm kinda free. I know this issue is very sensitive, so please don't take this at heart, it's just my thoughts. Feel free to comment :)p/s: my english is not good so if you don't get what i mean after reading....don't bother....
The speaker is Tryphena Law and she's a funny lady! I thought this was going to be another spiritual and boring seminar but i was wrong. I voluntarily join it. Anyway, in simple words, homosexuality can be define as a same sex attraction which is girl and girl, boy and boy.hhmm, what the speaker said is true. A girl girl relationship doesn't need to be a tomboy and a girly girl. It can happen either way, like a girly girl and another of its kind but then 2 tomboys together will be rare. She also mentioned something about emotional dependency. okay, i don't know how to explain this but i'll quote a few things from the notes."Emotional dependency=the condition resulting when the on-going presence and/or nurturing of another is believed necessary for personal security""Emotional dependency can happen in opposite and same sex friendships. They can happen between married couples and between parents and children."I don't know how this is linked to homosexuality but just for your information. Anyway, people see homosexuality as disgusting, a disgrace and shameful. Why? because it's not the norm. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying homosexuality is right either.Let me explain this. I went to Thailand last year and I saw a food stall selling fried cockroaches, worms and other insects. So, ever hunger for experience, I bought a cockroache and try it. It is not a norm and that's why my friends look at me and said 'eeww.....'. It's the same concept.
Does it look delicious? For most city people, most people will think twice before they eat, but for them, they eat it as dessert.It is a thought or a way of thinking instil in us when we are young. But then the issue of homosexuality is not, so when we get to know more when we are older, it's not a norm to our thinking anymore.Another thing is that they also long for acceptance and love from people, same as heterosexual couples. They're still human beings. Their practice might be wrong from a religious point of view but then we cannot look down on them because their hearts and intentions might be as good as us or even better, I dare to say. And we are in no position to judge them. Only God does, and only God can change them.Another point mentioned by the speaker is pornography. I think a person can choose whether to watch porn or not. You can choose whether to smoke or not. It is a choice. But then if you watch too much or cannot control your desire of wacthing, you become a porn addict.But then, someone is gay or lesbian is not a choice. You cannot just wake up one day and said I want to become gay. And then you are gay?!?! No, it does not work that way. And there's no gay addict either. -.-Think of it this way, a "normal" man would find a lady's figure, voice, legs..... sexy and hot. But if you tell them to look at guys the same way as they look at girls, they would freak out. I mean turn off.It's the same as gays. They find man attractive but not girls. Try to look from their angle and you'll see and get what I mean. I know science has not proven whether genes affect this kind of behaviour. The debate is still on and I have no idea what outcome it will be and I also don't really care. But, Gay is not a choice.Some questions to ponder.....
What IF one day you realize you are attracted to the same sex?
What about bisexuals?
I heard my friends debate about bisexuals. One said that bible didn't mention anything about that.
I have no idea.

Look at the amount of rubber I have. I still remember during primary school days, my parents used to give me some pocket money which is just enough to buy a bowl of mee(big). I usually eat lesser which means I'll eat a small bowl of mee(sacrificing my stomach) and the remaining money goes to rubbersss. Okay, I was obssess with rubbers those days but till now I never get to use them so I have to give them away.
